In this story, there Are four main characters, the cat in the hat, the little boy, the little girl, and the goldfish. The story is definitely written for children. In the story, the childrenââ¬â¢s parents leave house and the children unattended on a rainy day and they are left with nothing to do. The little boy and girl meet a cat, who loves to have fun. The cat comes into the house against the will of the goldfish. Then the kids and the cat in the hat have lots of fun while making a big mess in the process. The goldfish manages to hurt the catââ¬â¢s feelings by making a fuss about how the cat made such a mess. And just when all hope seems to be lost and the kids thought there was no way the mess would be clean before their mom was home, the cat in the hat came through. This story had a very positive impact on me. When I was five I had trouble reading. At the time I hated trying to read because I was no good at it. The Cat in the Hat was easier to read than all of the stories I had tried before and being able to read made me feel good about myself. à à à à à This story was memorable because it was easy to read and had a happy ending.
